China University of Petroleum, Beijing Campus (CUP), is located in a scenic region of tourist interest in Changping County, Beijing, about 5 miles to the Ming Tombs and 15 miles to the Great Wall. CUPB offers not only engineering programs in oil and gas science including chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, geoscience and mechanical and electronic engineering, but also , in computer science, business management and Chinese Language Study programs of a full range from diploma, bachelor's and master's to doctoral programs.The university has 4 faculties, 5 departments and 3 schools and 1 research center, offering 25 bachelor's , 99 master's and 32 Ph.D. programs and one diploma program in Chinese Language Study.
